Thousands of readers have signed support cards and/or phoned the SJ-R publisher to express their concern about the reduced commitment to news coverage under GateHouse. Thousands of readers have taken the time to talk with our members at public events like the Illinois State Fair, where we have manned a booth in the Labor Pavilion.
